We want everyone to be able to use bigcityink.com, including people who rely on assistive technologies. This statement describes our commitment, how the Site has been assessed and how you can report a barrier.

Our commitment

We aim for the Site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

The Site is built with a semantic page structure and landmarks, a “Skip to content” link, text alternatives for meaningful images, visible keyboard focus and color contrast designed to meet Level AA. Animations are reduced when your device is set to reduce motion.

Assessment

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on October 19, 2026, comprising automated testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria in desktop and mobile layouts, and manual review. We repeat the assessment when we make significant changes to the Site.

Known limitations

The interactive map and three-dimensional street views in The Atlas are visual by nature and may not be fully usable with a screen reader or by keyboard alone. Public live streams and street imagery in The Atlas are provided by third parties and are outside our control.
